There is no better way to keep a large entertainment piece like a television out of the way than by using a tv wall mount. This little addition will help you organize your space and it is almost an absolute necessity for any bedroom, especially a small bedroom. There are a few options to consider when choosing which tv wall mount will suit your needs.

The first option is not for the faint at heart. Nor is it for anyone who doesn’t like to do home improvement tasks in general. However, you can make a beautiful tv wall mount that is specific to your tastes and is specific to your needs with very few materials and relatively little time.

The second option is visiting a store like Best Buy or Wal-Mart in the flesh. Many people who aren’t crazy about getting out the measuring tape and table saw may find that they prefer entering a store and viewing the tv wall mounts that are offered right off of the shelves.

The third option is surfing the net for your ideal tv wall mount. This option is very appealing to the generally lazy individual like my self. I love the idea of making virtual visits to any number of stores at the click of a mouse. Sites like Biz Rate will offer price comparisons for many different stores, so you can save even more time by going straight to the price-comparison site. You can have a brand new tv wall mount sent directly to your home in no time at all.

There is a downside to virtual shopping. First of all, you are never quite sure what you are going to get. It helps if you have a very good understanding of measurements and are able to picture the product’s proportions in your mind. I learned the difference between fifty-three inches and thirty-five inches the hard way. Another drawback to ordering online is the shipping costs. I also learned a hard lesson about shipping charges after making a purchase online.

However, if you really know your measurements and you find a store that offers discounted or even free shipping, I recommend hopping online with credit card in hand. It beats dragging yourself from store to store, especially if you arrive home empty handed or worse yet, with something that you really don’t want.

Then again, if you are handy in the woodshop, you can always create your own tv wall mount. My husband chose this option and I love the custom-made piece that supports our television. It is a testament to my faith in my husband’s abilities. I keep an antique statue directly below the tv wall mount.
